<image:title>Melvin Karsenti - Next?</image:title>
<image:caption>I firmly believe that you should be passionate about your work and that it should be more than getting a paycheck. For these reasons, I decided to leave Wingz and search for something more meaningful in three specific fields dear to my heart. Climate Change Sports & Communications Branding</image:caption>

<image:title>Melvin Karsenti - Wingz</image:title>
<image:caption> I joined Wingz as employee #1 to support the four co-founders. There was no office, no cool perks, no-nonsense. Things needed to be done. I did not care that my title was marketing and communications manager, I thrived wearing different hats. In my first year, I was a copywriter, a designer, a content creator, a data analyst, a strategist, a social media guru, an ad creator, a PR guy, a customer support agent, a driver manager, a business development specialist and more. It was worth every moment because we were building a community. Riders and drivers loved the Wingz experience, and soon after investors did too. Our hard work helped us raise series A & B funding rounds. With some budget and a growing team, I focused on what I really love doing, building the brand. Below are examples of projects, big and small, I owned over my 4+ years at Wingz.</image:caption>

<image:title>Melvin Karsenti - Basketball</image:title>
<image:caption>Basketball is my first love. It shaped my life in many ways. It all started with a guy you may have heard of, Michael Jordan, and it stayed with me forever since. I used to watch His Airness’ games and try to reproduce his moves on my Playskool hoop in my parents' backyard. By 16, I was on the bench of a professional team in France. At 17, I received a scholarship to play high school basketball in Virginia. At 18, I went back to France to go to college and to become a professional basketball player. After moving to San Francisco, I started covering the NBA and the Golden State Warriors. It was the perfect way to stay around basketball, to go behind the scenes, and talk to the protagonists to feed my passion for the game. Why I write in French? This is a question I get a lot and the answer is fairly simple. 99% of the time, I am the lone credentialed French media member at Oracle Arena. That’s a pretty big competitive advantage. If you speak/read French, below are examples of some pieces I wrote, broke down by categories.</image:caption>

<image:title>Melvin Karsenti - Words</image:title>
<image:caption>I love to write. In 2014 I started working with Craft Translation as a French translator/transcreator on a project basis. Through this partnership, I had the opportunity to work with brands like Google and MasterCard, as well as creative agencies like R/GA, on worldwide campaigns. I write in English as well and have been a copywriter for Wingz throughout my time with the company.</image:caption>
